Barfuß ins Bett

Barefoot into bed is a 14-part family series of television of the GDR from 1988 to 1990. Directed by Peter Wekwerth in the first season and in the second season Horst Zaeske, the screenplay was written by Ingrid Foehr.

Action

In the center of the story is the senior physician Dr. Hans Schön, who lives alone after the death of his wife. To his household besides his mother include two sons. The younger son Robert ill with rubella and temporarily cared for by his kindergarten teacher Josi. So the couple gets to know and love. Even in the first episode marry the two, and there are further problems initially with the mother of Nice and in the further course (especially in the second season ) in terms of family concepts in the younger generation ( son of Clemens ).

Background

The title alludes to the family tradition, common to lie in bed, what emerges through the cinematic representation of bare feet in different combinations over and over again in the series.

Although the plot is not locally bound, locations of the film set Neubrandenburg are often shown.
