Barking is a railway station in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. History

The railway company London, Tilbury and Southend Railway ( LT & SR ) opened the station on 13 June 1854, when she took the route to Tilbury in operation. 1888 was the direct running track added towards Southend -on-Sea. The LT & SR and the Midland Railway built together the route to Gospel Oak and took this in 1894.
