The Barkly Highway is a highway in northern Australia. It is 755 km long and runs from Threeways in the Northern Territory to approximately 12 km east of Cloncurry in Queensland. He is the main route between Queensland and the Northern Territory and is located for several years in a very well-developed state.

The Barkly Highway begins in the Northern Territory in Threeways, where it branches off from the Stuart Highway ( N87 ). The turnoff is about 25 km north of Tennant Creek, 531 kilometers north of Alice Springs and 966 km south of Darwin.

The road runs east through mostly desert and savannah zones similar before he reached the first foothills of the Barkly Tablelands after a short time. After about 190 km of the highway runs through Barkly Homestead where the Tablelands Highway ( S11) branches off to the north. The highest point in the course of the highway is 456 m and the lowest at 193 m.
