Barmouth

Barmouth (Welsh Abermaw ) is a city in the county of Gwynedd in North Wales. It lies on the Cardigan Bay, on the north side of the estuary of the Mawddach.

Urban Development

The town of Barmouth originally evolved to the local shipbuilding industry around and became popular in modern times as a holiday resort.

Attractions

The city has several notable buildings, so the medieval tower house " Tŷ Gwyn " and the roundhouse prison " Tŷ crwn " from the 18th century. There is a new Lifeboat Visitor Centre.
