Barnim V. (c. 1369, † 1402 or 1403 ) was a Duke of Pomerania - Stolp.

Life

Barnim V. was the youngest son of the Duke of Pomerania - Stolp Bogislaw V. and his second wife Adelheid of Brunswick- Grubenhagen, a daughter of Duke Ernst I. After the death of his father, in 1373, he got together with his brothers Wartislaw VII and Bogislaw VIII under the guardianship of her half-brother Casimir IV

After Casimir's death in 1377 the brothers jointly acquired control of the Duchy part Stolp in Pomerania. Barnim studied at the University of Prague, where he was enrolled in 1387 at the Faculty of Law of Canon Law, so obviously targeted at that time a ministry to. 1392 he returned to Pomerania.
