Barnsdall Main Street Well Site

The Barnsdall Main Street Well Site (also known as Indian Territory Illuminating Oil Company Well # 20) is a historic oil well in the north of the U.S. state of Oklahoma, in Osage County, in the United States. It is located west of the junction of Oklahoma State Highway 11 to Main Street, right on the main street in Barnsdall and is therefore unique in the world. The source is a popular tourist attraction.

The oil production started on March 18, 1914 and was conducted by the Indian Territory Illuminating Oil Company. The drilling depth reaching 540 meters. The foundation of the building is made of concrete.

The Barnsdall Main Street Well Site was taken from the National Register of Historic Places with the number 97001153 on 1 October 1997 as a National Historic Monument.
