Baron Byron

Baron Byron of Rochdale in the County Palatine of Lancashire, is a British hereditary title of nobility in the Peerage of England, which is supported by the Byron family.

Award

The title was created in 1643 for the Royalist Civil War General and longtime House of Representatives Sir John Byron.

Since this was childless, was the ceremony with the special note that even his brothers and their male descendants should be entitled to inherit the title.
