Baron Kennet

Baron Kennet of the Dene in the County of Wiltshire, is a British hereditary title of nobility in the Peerage of the United Kingdom, which is run by the family Young.

Ceremonies

The title was created in 1935 for ( Edward) Hilton Young. This was 20 years member of the House of Commons and at last been Minister of Health. He had first the Liberal Party, later a member of the Conservative Party.

Another title

The first Baron was the youngest son of Sir George Young, 3rd Baronet. Therefore, the respective Baron stands in the succession for the title of Young Baronets, which belongs to the Baronetage of the United Kingdom.
