Baron Killanin

Baron Killanin, of Galway in the County of Galway, is a British hereditary title of nobility in the Peerage of the United Kingdom, which is run by the Morris family.

Award

The title was created in 1900 for the Irish lawyer and politician Michael Morris. This was Lord Chief Justice of Ireland, and then was Lord Justice.

More titles

In contrast, the 1885 awarded him the dignity of a baronet, which belongs to the Baronetage of the United Kingdom, still worn by the respective Baron.
