Baron Milverton

Baron Milverton, of Lagos and of Clifton in the City of Bristol, is a British hereditary title of nobility in the Peerage of the United Kingdom, which is run by the family Richards.

Award

The title was created in 1947 for the colonial official Sir Arthur Richards. This was at that time governor of Nigeria, after he had previously been already held the same position in North Borneo, Gambia, Fiji and Jamaica.
