Baron Tedder

Baron Tedder, of Glenguin in the County of Stirling, is a British hereditary title of nobility in the Peerage of the United Kingdom, which is run by the family Tedder.

Award

The title was awarded in 1946 to the famous Marshal of the Royal Air Force Sir Arthur Tedder. This had initially served in World War II in the Mediterranean as commander of the Royal Air Force and was then appointed deputy Eisenhower during the invasion of Normandy.
