Baron Tweedmouth
Baron Tweedmouth, was a British hereditary title of nobility in the Peerage of the United Kingdom, named after the village Tweedmouth on the River Tweed, which was run by the family Marjoribanks.
Award
The title was created in 1881 for the liberal politicians and MPs in the House of Dudley Marjoribanks. This was one of the financiers of the party because of its considerable assets.
