Barry Palmer (British singer)

Barry Palmer (born 1958 in England) is a British singer.

Biography

Barry Palmer's musical career began in the early 1970s as the lead singer of the English band Kenny, who had with The Bump and Fancy Pants two top 5 hits in the UK. 1976 Palmer moved to the German rock band Triumvirat, 1980 he played at the LP Do not Stop the show with Satin Whale.

For Mike Oldfield he sang six songs. 1983 Crime of Passion, which was only just released as a single and only appeared on the best- of album The Complete from 1985 again. In 1984 he sang for album Discovery next to the eponymous song and Poison Arrows, Saved by a Bell and a duet with Maggie Reilly hit the Tricks of the Light. The following year he sang with Anita Hegerland and Aled Jones Mike Oldfield hit Pictures in the Dark.

Barry Palmer brought in 1984 a solo album ( Without Aim at ) and a single ( God Bless the Children ) out. Their 2001 release, the single Dear John.
