Barry Venison

Barry Venison ( born August 16, 1964 in Consett, England ) is a former English footballer, who was during his professional career at Sunderland AFC, FC Liverpool, Newcastle United, Galatasaray and Southampton FC under contract.

Sunderland AFC

Venison began his club career in his native North East England at Sunderland, where he set the record as the youngest captain of a team during the Wembley Cup finals with 20 years. He also led his team during the League Cup final in 1985 against Norwich City, which they lost 1-0.
