Barse
Source of Barse
The Barse is a river in France, which runs in the Champagne- Ardenne region in the department of Aube. It rises in the Regional Natural Park of the Orient Forest, in the municipality of Vendeuvre- sur -Barse; their source is located here below the medieval castle. The Barse drains generally in a northwesterly direction and reaches in their downstream flood protection and water supply system of the Seine around the Lac d'Orient Lake, which is characterized by a variety of artificial watercourses. The natural history of Barse is here places no longer recognizable and it opens to the total of 50 kilometers at Saint- Parres- aux- Tertres, the metropolitan area of Troyes, under the name Canal de Baires as right inlet into the Seine.
