Bart Veldkamp

Bart Veldkamp ( born November 22, 1967 in The Hague ) is a former Dutch and Belgian skaters.

At the Olympic Games in Albertville in 1992 he won the gold medal at the Olympic Games and 1994 in Lillehammer the bronze medal each in the 10,000 meters, then still starting for the Netherlands. Since he was with the qualification mode in the strong Dutch team for the Olympic Games in Lillehammer, but do not agree, he joined the Union, and then started for Belgium. In Belgium itself, there was no Weltklasseeisschnellläufer, so that he had no more problems to qualify.

At the Olympic Games in Nagano in 1998 he won bronze for Belgium over 5000 meters. 2002 and 2006 he also started at the Olympic Games, but could not each place close to the podium itself. In 2006, he finished his career.
