Barwani State

Barwani was one of the princely states of Central India Agency of British India. It was founded in the 11th century by the Sisodia Rajput from Mewar / Udaipur. In 1650 was Barwani capital of the principality. After territorial losses in the Marathenkriegen Barwani British protectorate was ( until 1947 ).
