Baryshivka
Baryschiwka (Ukrainian Баришівка; Russian Барышевка / Baryschewka ) is the capital of Ukrainian Rajon Baryschiwka and lies about 70 km east of Kiev. The settlement municipality also includes the villages Passitschna ( Пасічна ) and Schwatschycha include ( Швачиха ).
Population
The population consists of 94% Ukrainians, 4.7 % Russian, 0.5% of Belarusians.
Traffic
Baryschiwka is located about 6 km from the highway M -03 ( European Route 40) between Kiev and Kharkiv, south of the village runs the railway line Kiev - Poltava.
