Bascom is an unincorporated community in the western part of Hopewell Township, Seneca County, Ohio, United States. Although the site is not incorporated as a municipality, it has a post office.

Geography

Bascom is located at the intersection of Ohio State Route 18 and Ohio State Route 635 east of Fostoria ( geographic coordinates: 41 ° 8 ' N, 83 ° 17' W41.132777777778 - 83.285277777778 ). OH 18 runs as Tiffin Street from East to West, OH 635 leads in a north-south direction. The village lies on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. North of the railway line are several clay pits, some of which are filled up with groundwater.

The town is located north of the East Branch Wolf Creek.
