The Bashan Dam ( Chinese巴山 水电站, Pinyin Bashan shuǐdiànzhàn, Bashan Hydropower Station ') is a dam on the river Renhe (任 河) in the large village Bashan in a circle Chengkou of Chongqing Municipality in China, 15 km north-west of the seat of the district administration. The main purpose of the dam is hydroelectric power production; it has a 140 - MW hydroelectric power plant with two 70 MW Pelton turbines and generators.

The dam is a CFR dam with a height of 155 m; he builds up a reservoir of 315 million m³. The shut-off faces a bend of the river and diverts the water to by a 2181 m long operating water tunnel that leads to the power plant. Construction began in 2005, the river was diverted in 2006 and the generators were operational in 2009. 449 GWh of energy can be produced per year.
