Basic Element (music group)

Basic Element is a successful Swedish music band of the genre Euro Dance. The group comes from Malmö and originally consisted of Peter Thelenius, keyboardist and singer Cesar Zamini Zetma Prenbo. Currently it consists of Peter Thelenius, Mathias Olofson, Jonas Wesslander and Andrea Myra.

History

Peter Thelenius and Cesar Zamini formed the group in 1992 and started with Zetma as a singer. In 1993, the record deal was signed with EMI Records and released their first single " Move Me ". There followed in 1994 the great Swedish hit "The Promise Man". The musical style changed over time away from the initial hip-hop, had assumed the role of a rapper mainly in the Thelenius.

1995 different Zetma Prenbo when she became pregnant by the band and they were replaced by Saunet Sparrell. The new album " The Ultimate Ride" was published. In 1995, Peter and Cesar divided on the future of the band and Cesar left her. This was followed by the third album "Star Tracks" and you started to think the music genre disco. The band then took a break and Thelenius published in 1997 a solo album named "Peter". In 1998, Basic Element with a new album with the original Euro - dance sound with Marie Fredriksson ( not to be confused with the singer of Roxette ) as a new voice.

As of 1999, the band recorded a new break, but came in 2005 with a remake of her old hit " This must be a dream" back in 1995, with Mathias Olofson as a new member of the band. In February 2006, a new single titled "Raise the gain," with a slightly different sound appeared. On 7 February 2007 published Basic Element her comeback album " The Empire Strikes Back ". 2007 Marie Fredriksson is replaced by Andrea Myra as a singer.

In Germany known songs include " To You", "Feelings " and "The Bitch".
