Basshunter
Basshunter ( born December 22, 1984 in Halmstad, Jonas Erik Altberg bourgeois ) is a Swedish musician and DJ.
Music
Jonas Altberg describes his music as Euro Dance, but it is also classified as Hands up. He makes his music in his own words with the help of his computer and the FL Studio program since the year 1999. Basshunter released his first two albums via his website. The first album was called " The Old Shit" and appeared in 1999, was the second album " The Bass Machine" and was first released in 2004 only in Sweden. He was known throughout Scandinavia, Iceland and Finland and in the Netherlands after his release of the single " Boten Anna " ( " Anna, the bot " ) in 2006.
Bass Hunters third album is titled "LOL < (^ ^, ) >" and is, as already suggests the title of the album, from the internet and refers to the associated network jargon. So the song " Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA " is (in some countries for the sake of simplicity " DotA ") thereof, that the singer is in a Ventrilo conversation and play the Warcraft 3 DotA Funmap. In the song, he also deals with game tactics and scenes. The melody of the song based on the song " Daddy DJ " by the French band Daddy DJ. Just like " Boten Anna ", Basshunter a private English-language counterpart has for " Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA " created: " All I Ever Wanted ," which is about his desire to see a certain girl smile.
In mid-March 2007 is a Basshunter remix of the song " Ieva 's Polka ( Ievan Polkka ) " by the Finnish quartet Loituma song released as a download version.
His most famous song is Boten Anna.
