Bathydraco marri

Antarctica dragon fish ( Bathydraconidae ) are living on the ground spitzschnäuzige predators of slender shape. They live exclusively in the Southern Ocean.

Features

Antarctica dragon fish have a flattened head. All species are absent, the first dorsal fin. They are depending on the type, 13 and 59 centimeters long. There are 45 to 79 vertebrae and one or more side lines. The gill membranes are grown together. The mouth is usually not vorstülpbar.
