Batizovský stit Pleso from Batizovské

The Batizovský stit ( German Botzdorfer tip) is a doppelgipfliger mountain in the main crest of the High Tatras in Slovakia. It is N.M. 2456 m high.

From the neighboring peaks Zadný Gerlachovský stit ( 2616 m nm; German Samuel Roth- peak) and Kačací stit ( 2395 m nm; German Ententalspitze ) the Batizovský is stit through the mountain saddles Západné Batizovské saddleback saddleback or Nižné Kačacie separately. The first ascent was made by K. Jurzyca with the mountain guide J. Galka on 13 June 1900.

A climb is now possible only with an accredited mountain guide. It usually results from the Berghotel Sliezsky dom ( German Schlesierhaus ) along the main road (red tourist mark ) for Batizovské Pleso ( German Botzdorfer lake ) and from there through Batizovská Valley.
