Battery grip
The battery grip is an accessory for a single or a few models of SLR cameras, which can accommodate more batteries, and thus can increase the battery life of your camera.
Furthermore, a battery grip, depending on the type of permit the following:
- The add a vertical grip with its own triggers and other buttons to facilitate portrait photography.
- Allows the use of AA batteries by using a special magazine.
- Automatic triggering a built interval timer.
- Adds a wireless remote shutter release added.
It is usually attached to the tripod socket and connects the electrical contacts inside the battery compartment of the camera. Most battery grips have kept a tray to the dismounted cover the normal battery compartment. Battery grips are usually meant for one or a few camera models, since they must also be matched to the shape of the camera body, connectors, and power requirements.
