Battle of Guam

During the Pacific War, there were several a battle for Guam:

• Battle of Guam (1941 ) in which the Japanese army conquered the island from the United States.
• Battle of Guam (1944 ) in which the Americans retook the island.

Furthermore, the United States captured Guam in 1898 in the Spanish -American War of the Spanish. Since in this case, however, were no hostilities, this event is known as the occupation of Guam.
