Battle of Guinegate

As a battle of Guinegate, a French village in Picardy, following disputes are referred to:

  • The battle of August 17, 1479 in the dispute between the Archduke Maximilian, later Emperor Maximilian I and King Louis XI. of France to the Burgundian possessions, see Battle of Guinegate ( 1479 ).
  • The battle of August 16, 1513 as part of the Holy League against France, when Emperor Maximilian I with the allied King Henry VIII of England in turn defeated a French force, see Battle of Guinegate ( 1513).
