Called The Battle of La Motta, also known as the Battle of Schio, Battle of Creazzo or Battle of Vicenza, took place between troops of the Republic of Venice and an allied army of Spain and the Holy Roman Empire on October 7, 1513. It is one of the battles of the Italian wars in the Holy League against France. A Venetian army under Bartolomeo d' Alviano tried to stop the Confederate army under Ramón de Cardona on withdrawal from Veneto, but was defeated in spite of overwhelming power and scattered.
