Battle of Marj Dabiq

The Battle of Marj Dabiq near Aleppo took place between the Ottoman Empire under Sultan Selim I, the stern and the Mamluks under Sultan Al- Ashraf Burdschiyya Dynasty Qansuh al - Ghuri on 24 August 1516. The battle ended with the victory of the Ottomans and the death of al - Ghuri.
