The Battle of Rain am Lech of 14-15. April 1632 was a major battle of the Thirty Years' War in Rain.

The troops under King Gustav II Adolf of Sweden had occupied Nuremberg and then Donauwörth. Now they had to pull the concept against Ingolstadt. Field Marshal Count of Tilly wanted to prevent this by having her whereabouts with the quantitatively superior Bavarian army at the river crossing at Rain.

After two days of continuous fire on both sides of the river the Swedes succeeded a little further south of the junction, whereupon Tilly reacted too late / could react. For any further hostilities Tilly was hit by a bullet in the right Falko Nice thighs, this case completely smashed.

The Bavarian Elector Maximilian I ordered the retreat to Ingolstadt, where Count of Tilly on April 30, 1632 died of his injury. It succeeded Gustav II Adolf not conquer Ingolstadt.
