Battle of Rovine

The Battle of Rovine took place on May 17, 1395 between the Wallachian army led by Voivod Mircea cel Bătrân ( 1355-1418 ) and the Bayezid I. Ottoman invasion led troops instead. The battle is said to have taken place near the river Arges. The exact site of the Battle is as controversial as its output, although it is assumed in the literature, the majority of a Wallachian victory or at least advantage.
