Battus II of Cyrene
Battus II (Greek Βάττος ὁ Εὐδαίμων ) was about 583-565/60 BC, succeeding his father Arkesilaos I. king of Cyrene.
Battus, who was known as " the lucky one ", issued to 580 a call to colonize Cyrene by the Greeks, the most followed Peloponnesians.
