The Batu language (ISO 639-3 btu ) is a tivoide language from the language group of the bantoiden languages , spoken by 25,000 people in several places in the Nigerian state of Taraba in the local government area Sardauna.
The Batu has three dialects, these are amanda- afi, angwe and kamino. The language belongs to the family of languages of the Niger - Congo languages and is related to the Tiv.
