Batura Muztagh is the westernmost mountain range of the Karakoram. It is located in the autonomous region of Gilgit- Baltistan in Pakistan. The Batura Muztagh is the only part of the Karakoram main chain, which lies west of the Hunza Valley. The highest elevation is the Batura Sar or Batura I with 7,795 m. This was climbed on 30 June 1976, the Germans H. Bleicher and H. Oberhofer first time.
