The Bauchi language (ISO 639-3: bsf, also Bauci, baushi, kushi ) is a platoide language from the group of Kainji languages, spoken by 20,000 people in the Nigerian state of Niger in the local government areas Rafi and Shiroro.
The Bauchi, together with the language Gurmana [ gvm ] within the West Kainji languages subgroup Baushi - Gurmana. Bauchi has three dialects: wayam - Rubu, Madaka ( Adeka ) and supana.
