Baucina
Baucina is a city in the province of Palermo in the Italian region Sicily, with 2002 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Baucina located 38 km southeast of Palermo. The inhabitants mainly work in agriculture.
The neighboring municipalities are Bolognetta, Caccamo, Casteldaccia, Ciminna, Ventimiglia di Sicilia and Villafrati.
History
The town was founded in 1626. Baucina was created a checkerboard pattern.
