The Moscow State Technical " N. University E. Bauman "(also Moscow Bauman State Technical University, Russian Московский Государственный Технический Университет им. Н.Э. History

The Moscow State Technical University in 1830 as the " Imperial vocational school " (Russian Ремесленное училище, Remeslennoje Utschilischtsche ) founded and changed its name several times (including in 1917 after the October Revolution: "Moscow Higher Technical School" / MHTS ). In 1930 the university was named after the revolutionary Nikolai Bauman. The current name " State Technical University " dates from 1989; current president of the University is Professor AA Alexandrov. In addition to the Moscow headquarters, the Bauman University has a campus in Kaluga.
