Bavarian B VI

The steam locomotives of Class Bavarian B VI Royal Bavarian State Railways were a development of the Bavarian type B V.

The B VI was slightly greater than that of the previous design. The first series of 57 vehicles had a boiler pressure of 8 bar. In the second series of this was increased to 10 bar. The last two specimens have been transferred into the possession of the Reichsbahn, the redrawing according to the new numbering plan in the proposed operating numbers 34 7461 and 7462 but is no longer done because the locomotives were retired in 1922.
