Bavarian B XI

The steam locomotives of Class XI B of the Royal Bavarian State Railways were built 1895-1900 by Maffei for use in Bavaria. The first shipment consisted of 39 vehicles with two-cylinder wet steam engines, a further 100 with two-cylinder compound engines were followed until 1900.

The German Reichsbahn took over as the class 36.7 eight machines of the first series with numbers 36701-36708 and 76 of the second series with the numbers 36751-36 826

The locomotives were with Tender senders of types bay 3 T 12, T 14.5 bay 3 and 2'2 ' T 18 equipped. The vehicles were the first locomotives, which were powered by a four-axle Tender.
