Bavarian Cup

The Bavarian Toto Cup is football country cup of the Free State of Bavaria. He will be aligned every year since 1998 under the game management of the Bavarian Football Association (BFV ).

One more team winners and are entitled to participate in the DFB Cup, as the BFV is one of the three largest state associations in the DFB and thus may appoint two Association Cup participants.

  • Seven winners of the district Cups
  • Underdog finalist from that district, which presented the Cup Winners' Cup in the previous year (since 2001)

District Cup winners

  • Highlighted teams qualified for the DFB Cup.
  • As regional finalists qualified for the DFB Cup: TSV Aindling (2004), SSV Jahn Regensburg ( 2005), SpVgg Ansbach 09 ( 2008), and the SV Wacker Burghausen ( 2009).

Toto Cup since 2009/2010

The cup competition from the season 2009/ 10 starts - as the DFB Cup - with 64 teams. It continues with the second main round, the eighth note, quarter and semi-finals. At the end of the Bavarian Toto Cup final is played. The winner of the finals is qualified for the DFB Cup the next year. Since the BFV is one of the three largest state associations in the DFB, he may appoint two Federation Cup participants. The second team "losers of the finale " is determined against " winner of the match for 3rd place" in the game.
