Bavarian D II

After the retirement of all local railway locomotives of Class D II in 1894, the designation was reassigned. The steam locomotives for shunting the genus D II Royal Bavarian State Railways were tender locomotives. From 1906, more locomotives of this type was put into operation. They were given the new designation R 3 /3 System. 70 Of the 73 specimens of D II came as the class 89.6 to Deutsche Reichsbahn, the remaining three copies came in 1919 to the Polish State Railways PKP as TKh101. Most locomotives were also after the Second World War in action. The last D II was commissioned in 1960 from the service.
