The term Bay of Islands (English for "Bay of Islands " ) refers to a stretch of coast in the north of New Zealand's North Island.

The bay is located in the subtropical Northland region, more specifically in the Far North District about 60 kilometers north of Whangarei. The area forms one of the most popular vacation destinations in the country.
