The Bay of Mali Ston ( Croatian Malostonski zaljev or channel Malog Stona ) is located between the mainland and the Peljesac peninsula and extends from about the end of the Neretva Delta to Mali Ston. The bay is 28 km long and up to 6.1 km wide. The maximum depth is 29 m, but 80 % of the bay have a depth of about 20 m.

In 1983, the bay was declared a nature reserve special. Clean water has created the largest oyster farming areas in the Adriatic here.

In the northwest, the Bay by ferry Trpanj - Ploce be crossed. Planned and started the southeast is the construction of a bridge from the mainland to the peninsula.
