Baykan

Baykan (Kurdish: Hevel ) is a town and a district in Turkey. It belongs to the province of Siirt and is located in Southeastern Anatolia. Baykan is in the northwest of the province and borders the provinces of Batman and Bitlis. The district has 27 656 inhabitants Baykan, the city only 5,752 (as of 2012).

With original name was the village of Koh and from 1949 Havilland or Havel.
