Baz Mohammad Ahmadi

Baz Mohammad Ahmadi is the current Governor of Ghor province in Afghanistan. Ahmadi was a commander of the Jamiat -e Eslami, Ahmad Shah Massoud of the 1990s. After the U.S. invasion in 2001, Ahmadi was a high-ranking official in the Afghan Ministry of Defense. He replaced Ismail Khan from a military commander in Herat province.

Ahmadi is accused by Human Rights Watch to have committed human rights violations in the disputes of the 1990s.
