Bazhou District

Bazhou (Chinese巴州区, Pinyin Bazhou Qū ) is a municipality of the prefecture-level city in the Chinese province of Sichuan Bazhong. He had an area of 2,566 km ² and 1,290,000 inhabitants counted ( 2004). In February 2013 approximately 1,000 km ² were spun with about 620,000 inhabitants and formed from the new city district Enyang.
