Chula United ( Thai: สโมสร ฟุตบอล จุฬา ยูไนเต็ด ) is a football club based in the Thai capital Bangkok. Currently the club plays in the Thai league, the Thailand Premier League. Play their home games in the club from Chulalongkorn University Stadium.

Club history

The club was founded under the name FC Chula - Sinthana after the FC Chulalongkorn University merged with FC Sinthana in 2004. Its administrative headquarters, the club has at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. After the merger, the association launched a fresh start and played 2005 in Thailand Division 2 League. A year later, in 2006 succeeded the club promotion to the second division, the Thailand Division 1 League. Chula tried and failed to walkover in the in the Thailand Premier League. As a coach Kiatisuk Senamuang could be required at the start of the 2008 season. Had 2008 big problems to adapt to the beginning of the season, the new league, it ran in the second half of the season much better for Chula, and you could even occupy the eighth place finish. Under the new coach Kiatisuk Senamuang Chula maintains a very attacking and attractive game. This was certainly one of the reasons why Chonburi FC Zico is committed for the 2009 season. A successor for him there is not yet. In August 2008, a re-naming of the club name. From FC Chula - Sinthana to Chula United. After the departure Kiatisuk 's the Brazilian Carlos Ferreira was signed. But he had been unable to continue the successful path of his predecessor. For half of the season 2009, the club was on the relegation zone. The consequence drew the club in August 2009. Carlos Ferreira was released and Pichai Pituwong committed as the new coach. Pichai helped in the 2001/ 02 season, BEC Tero Sasana to the championship.
