The BBVA Compass Stadium is a football stadium in Houston in the U.S. state of Texas. It is since May 12, 2012 the venue of the MLS team Houston Dynamo. It has a capacity of 22,000 spectators. It also serves the Texas Southern Tigers of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, and the Houston Dash of the National Women 's Soccer League as the home stadium.

History

With the relocation of the San Jose Earthquakes to Houston and the consequent creation of new Houston Dynamo end of December 2005, the search began for a suitable location for a soccer -specific stadium. Financing
