BCD Travel

BCD Group (formerly BCD Holdings NV) is a Dutch privately owned company and consists of BCD Travel (global corporate travel management), Travix ( online travel: CheapTickets, Vliegwinkel, BudgetAir, Vayama and EasyToBook ), Park ' N Fly (off -airport parking), Park Mobile International ( electronic and digital parking solutions ), Airtrade ( consolidator and fulfillment ) and VakantieXperts ( leisure travel ). BCD Group was founded in 1975 by John van Vlissingen Fentener, employs more than 12,000 people and operates in nearly 100 countries. Total sales, including franchising in the amount of 8.5 billion USD (2012), amounted to 22.8 billion USD (2012 ).

Numiga is a German subsidiary with 75 employees that is specialized to process travel expense reports and organize business processes.

Advito

Advito, the consulting division of BCD Travel, offers consulting services in the areas of travel management, procurement and outsourcing. Advito has its headquarters in Chicago and London.

History

1847, the Hamburg-American Packet ride Actien Society (later Hapag ) founded in 1857 and the North German Lloyd ( NDL). 1905 Hapag and NDL opened in Berlin the first travel agencies. In 1970 the merger of the two companies to form Hapag -Lloyd AG. 1998 Hapag -Lloyd was acquired by Preussag AG and Hapag Touristik Union renamed TUI Group.

The TUI Group took over in 1999 the shares so the first travel agency management and in 2001 merged with First travel agency management and Hapag- Lloyd, TUI Business Travel business trip to Germany. TUI Business Travel and the U.S., Maritz Travel Group set up in 2001, the global brand TQ3 Travel Solutions. 2004 gave TQ3 Travel Solutions Management Holding and Navigant International announcing their cooperation.

In early 2006, TUI AG sold its subsidiary TQ3 Travel Solutions Management Holding GmbH to BCD Holdings NV ( operating since 2014 as a BCD Group), which brought together the three companies BTI World Travel, The Travel Company and TQ3 Travel Solutions under the name BCD Travel.
