BCF Wolfratshausen

The BCF Wolfratshausen is a sports club from the Upper Bavarian town of Wolfratshausen. In addition to the successful football department sports tennis, dance sport, badminton, table tennis, gymnastics and volleyball are also offered in the club. It consists of approximately 1,400 members.

History

The club was founded in 1957 as a recreational football club in the Wolfratshauser suburb Farchet. Were established in 1961 in the Bavarian Football Association. The former cadres belonged to the law student and later Bavarian Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber. It was not until forty years after its founding, the association joined with his football department and national in appearance, as he continuously rose between 2000 and 2004 of the county league to the Bavarian League. There were the athletics, however, not sufficient and the club was relegated in the first year again. Only through the game class reform in 2012 the club was re- grouped in the Bavarian League (Season South).
